Default Whats your favorite food recipe?

I guess I will start it off with a couple of mine.

SWEET AND SPICY CHICKEN WINGS
INGREDIENTS:

SAUCE
1 1/2 cups Louisiana-style hot sauce
3/4 cup butter
1 cup honey
1 pinch garlic salt
1 pinch ground black pepper
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper, or to taste

To Make Sauce: In a samll pot combine hot sauce, butter, honey, garlic salt, pepper and salt. I dont remember if you have to cook the sauce a litte bit before adding onto the chicken.

I havent made it for awhile.Add more Cayenne for more kick or reduce Cayenne for less kick.(I usually have to reduce it for the women at family gatherings, because they always complain its to hot.But the guys love it hot.My grandpa kind of got pissed off that I reduced the heat)

SWEET CHICKEN WINGS

INGREDIENTS:

SAUCE
3 tablespoons soy sauce
3 tablespoons water
1 cup white sugar
1/2 cup vinegar

To Make Sauce: In a small bowl combine the soy sauce, water, sugar and vinegar Mix together and pour over chicken.

I love this chicken, but it seems like it is alot less popular than the sweet and spicy recipe.

NEED FOR BOTH
chicken wings, separated at joints, tips discarded
2 eggs or more, beaten
1/4 cup or more all-purpose flour for coating

DIRECTIONS FOR BOTH:
Dip chicken in egg beat, then flour. Fry in a large skillet until crispy, about 15 minutes. Drain and place in a 9x13 inch baking dish.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

Poor sauce on chicken

Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until cooked through and juices run clear.

Lets see, my favorite asian dish is

I just love this dish. I serve it with white rice and crunchy noodles. You can basically add what veggies you like into it. Before this I really didnt care about carrots, but I love them in this dish.I usually end up tripling the sauce.Hint:to get real thin slices of meat, its best to cut the meat when its partially frozen. I use meat scissors. Also be carefull with that red pepper. Man, you can really make it fire meat.

ASIAN FIRE MEAT

INGREDIENTS:
1/2 cup soy sauce
1 tablespoon sesame oil
2 tablespoons brown sugar
3 cloves garlic, crushed
1 large red onion, chopped
ground black pepper to taste
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (add more for more kick or reduce for less kick)
2 tablespoons sesame seeds
Alot of Celery chopped
Alot of Carrots, chopped
A cup or two of sugar peas
1 pound beef round steak, sliced paper thin

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

DIRECTIONS:
In a large bowl, mix together the soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, garlic, and red onion. Stir in the black pepper, red pepper flakes, sesame seeds, leeks and carrot. Mix in the meat by hand to ensure even coating. Cover and let marinate for at least 2 hours or overnight.(you dont really have to marinate it)
Brush the bottom half of a wok with cooking oil, and heat over medium-high heat. Put in all of the meat and marinade at once, and cook stirring constantly. The meat will be cooked after just a few minutes. Remove from heat and serve with rice or noodles. For Korean style fire meat, roll the meat mixture up in a leaf of red lettuce.(I never tried the Korean style)

I got the recipe here http://beef.allrecipes.com/az/sinFirMt.asp
You can read other people reviews on it and scale the recipe what you want. I got the other two recipes from this site also.

Family tradition that we, along with other Buckeye fan, have:

BUCKEYE BALLS

Peanut Butter(sizes varies on how many you are making)
Flour(same as Peanut Butter in size)
Hershey milk chocolate bars(same in size for the others)

mix flour and peanut butter in bowl until peanut butter is thick and can be molded in shape without flattening out. With your chocolate bars, melt them in a bowl over the stove. Then, form the peanut butter into circular shapes about the size of a golf ball and lay on a cookie sheet. Using a utensil, dip the ball-shaped peanut butter into the melted chocolate except for the very top. Sit it back down on the cookie sheet and let it cool overnight.

What you will end up with is a perfect appetizing dessert that looks like an actually buckeye(dark brown with a lighter brown top), excellent for watching the Ohio State Buckeyes play football on saturday afternoons.

I'd rather make them and eat it in the comfort of my own home while watching the Bucks than go to a cracker barrel.

I had to eat alot of fish while I played sports. Its pretty good if you have the right recipe. Its protein rich and healthier than meat. We really couldnt eat a lot of meat so fish was the alternative. Unless you absolutely hate fish, you should go down to MAssachusettes and try out one of the seafood restaurants. Even fish haters love fish dish down there.

I can only eat battered or breaded fish and shrimp. I cant stand it plain. Some real good shrimp is coconut shrimp from sams club. The sauce from the sweet chicken wings works pretty good with it.

My mom begs me to make this dish all the time. Its real good.

Mexican Chicken Kiev

"This is a wonderful slightly spicy version of the classic Chicken Kiev. The kick of green chilies will make your family want more!!! You have to use strip green chilies not chopped." Original recipe yield: 8 servings.

INGREDIENTS:
8 skinless, boneless chicken breasts
2 green chile peppers, cut into 8 strips(I usually ignore this rule and just put two whole chiles in each piece of chicken.)
1 (8 ounce) package Monterey Jack cheese(pepper jack works too), cut into 8 slices
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 cup Italian-style seasoned bread crumbs
1 1/2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

DIRECTIONS:
Place 1 chicken breast between two sheets of wax paper. Working from the center to the edges, pound with a meat mallet until flat and rectangular shaped. Repeat with remaining breasts.
Wrap the green chili strips around the cheese, then wrap the flattened chicken breasts around the chili and cheese. Secure with toothpicks or uncooked spaghetti noodles.
Combine the bread crumbs, parmesan cheese, salt, cumin and pepper.
Roll the secured chicken pieces in the melted butter and then in the bread crumb mixture. Place chicken breasts in a 13x9 inch baking dish; don't let them crowd. Drizzle the remaining butter over all eight of the breasts. Refrigerate for 1 hour, or freeze to bake later (baking time will be increased by about 5 to 10 minutes)
Bake in a preheated 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) oven for 25 to 30 minutes, or until chicken is no longer pink and juices run clear.

This will sound lame but I swear my mother told me about it and it friggin 0WN5!

She calls it Upside Down Pizza..

You basically take whatever ou like, in my example I will use sausage and pepperoni.

Brown the sausage and put it in the bottom of a glass pan. Take a can or two (depending on what you like) of pizza sauce and dump it all over the bottom, spread it around and layer the top with the pepperoni.

Next, throw down a layer of whatever cheese and toppings you like as well and on top of that, take one of those ready made pizza crusts and stretch it out to fit over the top of it all being careful to tuck the edges in, basically sealing the goods underneath. Top it with cheese and bake it at 350 for about 20 - 30 minutes.

I swear I have never had something so good, different than normal pizza because everything sort of sops up the sauce, yummy and great on a cold Game Day!

yeah, man, I gotta do wings soon. Old Ben's on a special diet to get his blood levels normal after his kidneys packed in, so we've been eating out a lot so as not to depress him over not getting burgers and stuff. I'm thinking of getting some wings at wing stop this pm. Gonna go to a HS football game tomorrow night, and me and Little Girl Dog will eat there. Mrs Dog is having a root canal.

I think I'll make Park's Texas Democrat Chili this weekend. I got a bunch of ends of steaks in the freezer. I'll try to bring the recipe tomorrow.

Here is a quick snack tip.(only because I am eating it right now)Get a bag of Cheese Doritos. Then get a bottle of Tapatio. Sprinkle some tapatio into the bag of Doritos(if its a small one) and shake the bag. Then enjoy. If its a big bag just put some on a plate and sprinkle some over it or put some chips in a small plastic baggie and shake.

Something else I like to do with a Cheese Doritos is to put a little wasabi paste on them.I mean I put very little on each chip.About as big as this smile face.

Another great snack is wasabi peas. I hate peas, but I love these. They dont even taste like peas. I usually find them in the asian section at Ralphs. Make sure you get the good ones.Because some places dont put alot of wasabi on the peas and it will taste bland. The brand(Hapi) I eat come in a can and are called Hot wasabi Peas.Damn all this talk about wasabi has made me ditch my Doritos and open up a can of Wasabi peas. If you like hot stuff these are for you.
