Any thoughts? I have POllard on my money squad, but now that it is clear that Putzier is the #1 TE, I have to consider adding him over Pollard. Denver TE's have always been good to me.

Pollard is on my 'avoid' list.
My thoughts: Often considered a second tier TE, Pollard’s fantasy numbers hit their peak in 2001 (739/8). His TDs have declined the past three years, and he hasn’t stayed healthy enough to play sixteen games since 2001. With the continued emergence of Dallas Clark, and Pollard’s age, I think he has seen his best days. That said, Putzier should get his chances as the receiver of the TE corps. I think I'd roll the dice on Putzier. |

Don't feel bad MT...I have Boldin!
(Didn't realize that the injury was that bad.) |

Sassy! I had him in my queue, and then remembered that he was gonna be out for some time. But if he was able to come back sooner...he could end up being a great pick.At least Pollard's only a TE. |

Umm, why is it "clear" that Putz is the #1 TE. Carswell is the #1 guy.
Sassy, Boldin is not a bad pick in round 14. I'm just astounded that you had no clue he was out that long. He was the first big injury of the preseason. |

...I have to say Philly you were right about one thing. I liked drafting at 12 much better than three...even seven was better. |

It was clear when he posted this as Carswell was still listed as an LT Philly.
I have this same duo in one of my leagues and I picked Putz to start. He may not be a starting TE, but he is the pass TE and I expect he will put up decent numbers this year. |

Drafting @ 12 gives you way more stress then anywhere else. I feed on that. You need cooperation from the other owners to give you a shot at RB though RB. You need other owners to overlook guys at RB and reach for older, injury prone RB's like the Steven Davis' and marshall Faulks of the league.
I knew going in that unless one of the top 6 RB's dropped, I wasn't going to take a RB in the first 2 rounds. No way am I going to draft a Steven Davis, Marshall Faulk, etc when Culpepper and Harrison are sitting there. I have Q, Westbrook and Kevin Jones rated higher then Steven Davis anyway and they all slipped to me. I couldn't be happier with the way this draft went. |

I really don't see Carswell running a lot of routes when he currently weighs 295 pounds
I know he is going to slim down but it won't happen over night My league doesn't require a TE put I picked up the Putz as a FA when the other TE's were released, and I will wait and see how much involvement he has in the passing game |
