Nevertheless, FBI information since that time indicates patterns of suspicious activity in this country consistent with preparations for hijackings or other types of attacks, including recent surveillance of federal buildings in New York.
What action did he take? He stayed on vacaton another couple weeks, fished, golfed, and found new ways to cut funding for terrorism to fund missile defense. Explain away neo-cons. |

Bush obviously didn't intentionally allow it to happen, but it happened because he did nothing.

Pretty much.
Bush blew it due to his lack of experiance, his lackadasical attitude toward terrorism (his own words {Woodwards books} confirm that as do his actions...demoting anti-terrorism to deputy level when under Clinton it was Cabinet level, and his cutting of anti-terror funds by him and his cabinet time after time until 9/11, when he finally learned to take Al Qaeda seriously), and his stubborness which blinded him towards anything thought up outside his own cabinet. He wouldn't take the Hart/Rudman report seriously, he assigned Cheney to do his own report, that was to have started when....September of 2001. |

I take your lack of will of talking about this fight as a direct reflection that you cannot defend Bush at all on this point. Reminds me of the cowardice Bush showed when he ducked nam by getting daddy to bump him up into the Texas Air National Guard, from #500 to #1.
Typical republican cowards. Nevertheless, FBI information since that time indicates patterns of suspicious activity in this country consistent with preparations for hijackings or other types of attacks, including recent surveillance of federal buildings in New York. Why did Bush do nothing ![]() ?? |

You cannot prove anything I have written as false, therefore I am right, and Bush blew it.
I guess this entire War Board is pointless now since Bush is thus proved incompetent as commander in chief. Nevertheless, FBI information since that time indicates patterns of suspicious activity in this country consistent with preparations for hijackings or other types of attacks, including recent surveillance of federal buildings in New York. I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States. ``I'm the commander - see, I don't need to explain - I don't need to explain why I say things. If you can so easily prove that by doing nothing was the correct NON-action taken after being warned by a memo titled
BIN LADEN DETERMINED TO STRIKE AT US that stated Nevertheless, FBI information since that time indicates patterns of suspicious activity in this country consistent with preparations for hijackings or other types of attacks, including recent surveillance of federal buildings in New York. Then I am sure you can excuse away that one quickly. I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States. ``I'm the commander - see, I don't need to explain - I don't need to explain why I say things. How hard can it be to disprove that memo. I am sure you have a great reason why doing NOTHING was the best thing Bush could have done.
You guys are so smart, and so knowledgeable about Bush, you should easily be able to crush me in this point. |

It should take about 20 seconds tops, instead of ducking it just destroy me on this point, you super star neo-cons must have a great reason that Bush ignored this threat memo.
Nevertheless, FBI information since that time indicates patterns of suspicious activity in this country consistent with preparations for hijackings or other types of attacks, including recent surveillance of federal buildings in New York Please note the bold words and the meanings behind them. |

BTW- I searched the site no thread about this.
Explain away neo cons and stick to the FACTS. Typical republican cowards. Bingo, freak15. These idiots will do everything but address the issues. They know they can't defend AWOL Boy's abysmal record, so their only recourse is to call you a bunch of names, deflect to John Kerry's military service record, and pretend they won the debate. |

Riiiiiiight, paranoia boy. In fact, I invited all the other people on this forum who don't think AWOL Boy is fit for command. It's just a big conspiracy, and I'm the director. |
