"A half-brother of Usama bin Laden (search) says he enjoyed most of Michael Moore's 'Fahrenheit 9/11,' except for what he called 'inaccuracies' about his family.
"'It's a moving film,' Yeslam Binladin, a Geneva-based tycoon and one of the al-Qaeda leader's 54 siblings, said in an interview with the French magazine VSD." A Bin-Ladin, interviewed by a French magazine, calling Moore's flim "moving." ![]() |

The point being I could care less what a Bin Laden thinks about that movie. The fact that somebody considered it news worthy in the first place is ridiculous. You think that just because he is a Bin Laden relative that he automatically nows everything about him and can determine all the legitness of this wonderful movie? Please. But even so, the fact that he mentioned two inaccuracies off the top of his head, although he said several which means more then two mind you, just goes to prove how lacking in truth this wonderful movie really is. |

Rasc, you do realize that I was being sarcastic, right? I think Moore needs to be flushed. My post was to point out the irony that a Bin Laden would find his film "moving" in spite of a few inaccuracies and that this revelation was given to a French magazine.

strange that a bin laden would go on record find it moving or even laughable, since as we all know they're in cohorts with bush clan, right?

Here's an interesting article on the bin Laden family which might provide a bit of insight into Yeslam's comments. http://www.truthout.com/docs_02/05.2....Bin.Laden.htm |

Moore is an out and out liar and propogandist. The lemmings won't bother to read it, it's too well presented and might be too painful for their fragile house of cards. With Moore sitting next to Jimmy Carter in the Presidential Box, I think it deserves a look. The reason it's so long is it's carefully texted with reference and actual fact. Enjoy |

That's the whole damn point.
Bin Laden's family disowned him! They were allowed to leave when the air curtain was lifted. Huh? It sounds more like they were scared of reprisals. What you don't understand is that in the Muslim world, the sins of the son can be taken out on the family. so what is the point again? Your all in a circle jerk. According to Cannistraro, Saudi sources observed several of Osama's children travelling between Saudi Arabia and Afghanistan without restrictions. He doubts news reports that Osama spoke with his mother shortly before the September 11th attack. Rather, Cannistraro said, he has been told that the Saudis have conveyed messages from her to her son in recent years, begging him to quit his terrorist campaign. The assertion by the Manatee is that this is all an elaborate ploy to protect terrorists while he throws blood at the wrong enemy. That must be why Al Quaeda is smoking Hookas and laughing their hairy asses off right now huh. Fact is we have an Abram's Tank up their hairy asses and they don't like it. |

this is the same guy that said
A) I don't know him, we had different moms, I haven't seen him since the early 90's when he disowned him. AND B) If I did know where HE was, I couldn't tell anyone. I couldn't turn in my own brother. So we're going to take a guy that is willing to protect Mr. 9/11, and think that because he liked Moore's anti-American propaganda TRASH, it must actually be a legitimate and good movie? Come on. The Saudi's were against the war. They are terrified at the possibility of a working democracy in the Middle East. All those billionaire royal families will be turned into obsolete tabloid targets like Prince Charles, and given the chance to vote on it, I have a feeling that the citizens of Saudi Arabia would expect their fair share of the oil profits. Their whole world could fall apart because of this war. and they like the movie that bashes the president that brought this threat to their hideous way of life. |

In the Saudi world, back-stabbing is known as diplomacy.
