As soon as I saw Knowshon I yelled to my wife, Manning kept it! Took the camera guy a second to figure it out! Fooled everyone!

Nice play. Knowshon also would have scored if he was given a ball.

I was sure he got the TD too and then was confused when the camera man shot over and "someone" was running in. I was trying to figure out who it was because 18 didn't compute. Crazy.

Apparently Manning didn't even tell his teammates he was keeping the ball on that play.

Yeah, I heard that, but Moreno had to know otherwise he would have been looking for a loose ball instead of running into the LOS.

This. They sold the fake completely with Thomas in motion and him and Unrein plowing thru the same hole.

OTOH, Moreno does kind of stand up straight at the end of the run. Maybe he was surprised.

Yep. Did not compute for me either. May have helped that the camera guy was duped as well.

I had a total flashback when I saw this. Felt like I was on the way-back machine and sent back to 1969, Unitas did the exact same thing fake to Matte and kept it for the TD around the left end. Cool!

Knowshon would have walked in just as easy as Manning

Its impossible to tell. At what point did the defense see Moreno and realize he didn't have the ball?

Brought back memories of the 77 team. The Broncos ran the naked bootleg in the red zone for scores several times with Craig Morton (who was just as much of a non-runner as peyton)

Since we are talking memories, I got a flashback to Superbowl XXXII when John faked to a blind TD and went untouched to the corner endzone.

#66 in at fullback...he could have scored also.

memories: this reminded me of Tebow (neg rep me now) only he never went willingly 'nekked'...he was usually just molested.
