Default Bolden/Jammer

Apparently switched positions to see who offers the max flexibility...guessing that they are fighting for the same roster spot.

I was impressed with Jammer when they moved him to QB that last game against St. Louis he was very aggressive and you could telll he was fighting for a spot.

I have not seen Bolden do one great thing. I have seen in games he just hasn't done anything yet. Of course he is still real young so this will be a good battle.

I guess it's worth a shot! Bolden was buried behind Champ, DRC, Webster, Harris, and Carter.

Bolden has the look of a safety.

He doesn't seem like he has the speed. He was supposed to have 4.5 speed in college. I think he lost some of his speed from the knee injury.

Bolden has never impressed me. I listed him in the suprise cut thread before the season started.

Bolden doesn't have the speed or tenacity to be an impact player at CB.

Jammer is a reliable #6CB, who the Broncos will probably need at some point this year.

Both make the squad.

If both of those scrubs make the team and we lose a guy like McCray to waivers i'm going to be pretty pissed.

I don't know why you would be pissed, it isn't like he is the difference between a SB or bust. That said, he has a pretty good chance, and has 2 ways to make the roster, IMO: Von's suspension and/or he is regarded as an upgrade to Steven Johnson(and they have to pick between the two).

Curious out of the 2012 4th round how many guys are doing anything for their teams. My guess is about 5 max with the others already being cut or fighting for a final roster spot.

Not that big a deal to me

I didnt follow the defense that closely, but I'm assuming he meant that Jammer was either playing center deep in a 3-deep quarter formation, or one of the slot corners.

Quarter D is simply seven defensive backs. Typically:

2 edge corners
2 slot corners
3 safeties.

Plus either 4 DL or 3DL and an LB.

I know this cause Madden told me so.

Gotta hand it to the front office for blowing an early fourth on a guy who likely will never do **** for us.

In all fairness, Bolden was 1st round talent with a huge injury risk.

When you draft a player like that, you win some, you lose some.
