Default Joe Flacco on Peyton Manning: “He has guys on eggshells....”

http://blogs.denverpost.com/broncos/...for-him/21093/

Joe Flacco on Peyton Manning: “He has guys on eggshells … And that works for him.”

“Look at Peyton [Manning],” Flacco says. “He has guys on eggshells all the time. If they do the wrong thing, they’re thinking, ‘S—, he’s going to kill me.’ And that works for him. But at the same time, I think it’s tough to play in that environment. Sure, if you’re not consistently putting in the effort, that’s when I’m going to call you out. But if you’re putting in a full effort and you do something that costs us the game, what the f— is yelling going to do? The game’s over. Let’s move on and get better.”

That's just cause he's used to being the one who would F up during games.

F Joe Flacco. He's about to be very acquainted with the green field of Mile High...

Take that with a grain of salt since it's coming from the most overrated player (not just QB) in the league. He hasn't even had a good year yet. He got hot late in the season. He rode the coat tails of real leaders like Ed Reed and Ray Lewis (who he said he would laugh at). He is starting to become the next Phillip Rivers.

I fully expect to drink up the schadenfreude of Ravens fans once they blast out of the gate to a 7-9 record. Should be glorious and delicious.

It's hard to yell at his players when most the time he has to use the phrase "my bad".

I think a lot of it is he started getting better protection. We got very little pressure on him in that playoff debacle. And that was with Von and Doom. Can't let a guy with a big arm like that stand around in a clean pocket.

Exactly. And given that we don't have Von and Doom for the game....and probably no Champ....this is why I'm legitimately concerned for this game.

I don't think so, we couldn't get to him with Von and Doom, I just hope Moore backs up about 10 yards deeper than he did last time we played them.

Flacco may be able to chuck it deep but he doesn't have Boldin or Pita to bail him out when he needs a big 3rd down pick up.

I just hope we can score 45 on their D.

Not likely. I've said before, I think their D will be better than last year.

Healthy Ngata, healthy Suggs, Webb is back, and oh yeah, they took Doom from us.

Their defense is not going to be better without Ray Lewis. What are you smoking?

Can't wait to watch Joe "Livin' on a Prayer" Flacco to crash and burn this year.

Is Manning really like that? In looking at footage of him, I can't say I've seen him dress guys down in that manner dan marino-style.

I agree. He's not an in your face kind of guy that I've seen. He does show some annoyance and give some dirty looks I suppose, but I don't see how anyone would have a problem with that. Flacco need to shut the hell up and show Manning some respect.

He does. Watch the Carolina game from last year. Manning threw a bubble screen to Matt Willis (I think it was a 2nd down play with two or three yards to go for a 1st down), and instead of going straight up the field Willis danced a little bit and was tackled for no gain... Manning immediately started dropping F bombs at him and motioned for him to get off the field.

So, in other words, he did what every Broncos fan watching the game did...

I know right? It's about time we had another QB that held people accountable. We get a defender like that, and it's game ****ing on.
