Default Dean Goodell: "NO FUN OF ANY KIND."

http://deadspin.com/the-nfl-will-cra...gai-1039711146

No more sack dances. No more "military-style salute." No more "spiking the ball" (holy ****, really?). No more dancing.

Goodell is either Dean Wormer or the town in Footloose.

Goodell is trying to turn the NFL into a touch football game at west point! You can't do anything anymore!

That selfie nutshot gif is universally funny. We could beam that thing across the galaxy and make an alien species laugh.

Nothing about jumping into the stands with the fans, but the Mile High Salute is unsportsmanlike? Way to **** with tradition Rog.

As long as he isn't Dexter John Lithgow, we're OK.

Couple years from now security will be coming around whispering to fans "12 inch voices please".

What people aren't talking about is this is just more options for the refs to control the outcome of games. They are more "judgement" calls at the refs disposal when they "want" to throw a flag.

I'm glad I got to watch the NFL when it was actually fun to watch. This pink league PC crap is watered down so much I don't really care to watch as much anymore.

One of my favorite parts of the 2012 season was Von's dance routines. Just pure, unadulterated joy, and the league is taking it away.

And I was so looking forward to seeing the Mile High Salute from TD-idolizer Montee... guess that's not in the cards either.

holy crap, this is getting out of hand. No Fun League strikes again. What's wrong with the Mile High Salute, or any of the other ones that they are trying to ban now? Really i never had a problem with any of the celebration. They were just another form of entertainment and if you didn't want' the other team to do it, then stop them from scoring.

Obviously, Goodell is afraid that these GROWN MEN would have their feelings hurt...

In 2013, in the age of streaming prON to your smart phone and graphic real time 24-hour news cycle coverage of every police SWAT shootout caught on camera in the country, are there really any people (other than Joe Buck) who are still offended by some football players celebrating?

I think this is nothing more than sabre rattling by Goodell. He has to do this type of stuff every once in a while so as to make sure the players don't go too overboard.

Maybe he thinks spiking the ball leads to murdering someone.

I think he's definitely trying to curb the celebrations but I doubt he's gonna have refs throwing flags for a traditional spike, but who knows?

We already have penalties for group celebrations. That's fine. Leave the individual celebrations alone. It's what made the NFL the #1 spectator sport, in America...

Geez, take another part of the fun out. Pretty soon it will be so boring to watch, it will be like basketball. I can't watch basketball, too many whistles/stops in a game.

As much as people hate on Chad Johnson, he was a funny MoFo at times!
