2013 AFC West Draft Review w/ Greg Cosell
It's a podcast, they talk about Tebow for the first few minutes and then they start talking about the Broncos draft.
For those who can't listen...
Cosell was a big fan of Sly Williams. Thought he was the third best DT in the draft after Sheldon Richardson and Sharif Floyd. Said that he liked him more as the year went on, didn't feel that he was a good finisher early in the season but saw him progress.
He also liked Montee Ball the more he watched him. Called him a smooth runner with loose hips. No wasted motion when he runs, and is very decisive.
Is a fan of Keyvon Webster. Wasn't surprised he was drafted in the third round. Liked his physicality and speed. Thinks he can play in the slot.
Thinks Q. Smith is a fascinating guy, classic boom or bust player. Says he has everything you look for in a pass rusher but needs to get stronger. Sometimes plays too high.
Didn't have anything to say about Painter.
Says King struggles against press. Doesn't play as fast as he was timed consistently. Long strider. Nothing much else...
Liked Dysert, was surprised he lasted until the 7th round. Thinks he's a better passer than Matt Barkley. Not a big arm but can drive the ball when he needs to. Has inconsistent accuracy, but likes him overall.
And that's it. Said nothing that we didn't already know but any football talk this time of year is welcome IMO.
