I watched the whole thing because of his talent and rap music wasnt added to it. Plus, he is left footed!!!! Wish him success and be huge for the Norwegian population to watch some football even if he is a kicker and not in the action as much. Anyone notice that this is probably shot in his country and a place with normal field goal set up? Maybe American Football is spread across the globe more then we know. I do know they have a pro league in India.

Husted has said he's heard from Jan Stenerud, the only pure kicker in the Hall of Fame and also from Norway.

"I grew up idolizing Jan Stenerud as a kid," Husted said last month. "He's excited to see another Norwegian have an opportunity to make it in the NFL."

I especially liked the cross-over chip shots, where he hit the ball with his right foot. I doubt he'd try it in the NFL, assuming he gets that far, but it would be a tremendous "in-your-face!" for extra point kicks.

It's edited together, so they aren't going to show the misses, obviously. That said, he looks very athletic which helps on special teams. These Australian style kickers have done well in the NFL before.

Wasn't it a Chargers punter that destroyed someone on a punt return?

He was either an Aussie rules football guy or a rugby guy, I cannot remember. I may even be just wrong, but it's fun to think about anyhow.

If anyone hasn't watched the video all the way to the end, watch it again. The last shot is pretty unbelieveable.

I know who you're talking about, and I remember commentators talking about how he could "bench press as much as a linebacker." I'm not sure if he played rugby/Aussie football though.

I was hoping the Chiefs would sign him so we'd have a trick-shot kicker and QB! Oh well...

There have been plenty of good kickers from around the world in the NFL. Off the top of my head I remember Lawrence Tynes, current NYG kicker and former Chief.

A lot of these kicker wear the Copa Mundial Addidas soccer style shoe during games. I can see why they do. I wear them during soccer games and they are awesome.

Matt Turk was about 6'5" 250lbs. I don't remember all the teams he played for, but he was one of the biggest punters in recent memory

Darren Bennett played for the Chargers and was an Aussie Football player. Great punter and wouldn't run off the field like Rolf Berniscka would do (of course he had some disease that didn't allow him to have contact...perfect punter). Bennett later became an analyst for one of the local San Diego stations. Seemed like a great guy.

We could have used him vs the Ravens. As a Norwegian American I think we need more Norwegians in the NFL.

I also want my freaking Leif Ericson day as he beat Columbus to the northern hemisphere by 500 years. If they have Casmere Polaski, Martin Luther King, and Columbus day we should have a national holiday for Leif Ericson and eat Lutefisk, Herring, and lefsa b****es!

Edited or not, the guy has ridiculous power in his leg. You don't go bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang with non-teed 50 yard field goals unless you have some serious ability.

Definitely makes sense to invite him in for a look. He obviously has NFL-caliber leg strength. It's really just a question of consistency and accuracy, and his video doesn't reveal anything about that.
