Default Oh wow. Shooting at the Chiefs facility.

A scary and confusing situation has arisen this morning at Arrowhead Stadium.

According to Jay Glazer of FOX, who is in Kansas City, a Chiefs player and another person have been found shot in the team’s facility. Glazer doesn’t specify the condition of the victims.

Glazer isn’t revealing the name of the player involved until the family is notified.

We’ll be providing more details as they become available. The situation is contained and there is no ongoing threat.

This is pretty nuts. Awaiting more info.

Christ, you're a ****ing moron.

Peace to the families involved. This is so horribly sad, and astonishingly has nothing to do with football, fantasy or otherwise.

Can I worry about Charles this week in fantasy or is it still too soon?

This should be bannable just for playing FF and picking division rivals to cheer for during Sundays. Disgusting and why I can't play Fantasy Football.

I picked up Denario Alexander from the Chargers off of waivers. Although Rivers sucks.

Picked him up in 3 of my 4 leagues, Cecil Shorts in 2 and Ty Hilton in 3.

Cecil Shorts is developing into a real stud, considering the QBs who have been throwing the ball to him this season.

Shorts has a penchant for making big plays in the clutch.

He only has 36 receptions, but has 747 yards and 6 TDs....that equates to 20.8 yards per reception, which leads the AFC.

Shorts played Division III college football at Mount Union in Ohio....Pierre Garçon played there as well.

Terrible.

Winning and losing games is one thing, but it shouldn't be life and death. Dark times for the Chiefs.

UPDATE 10:36 a.m. ET: Per KCTV, one shooting occurred at the facility and a related shooting occurred elsewhere. A player reportedly shot and killed his girlfriend then drove to practice facility and shot himself there.

Word out of a KC local is that it was Inside line backer, Maine black bear Jovan Belcher. Looks like a murder/suicide. That sucks.

Really ashame ... a real tragedy for both family's and a final tail spin on this hell hole of a season for Chief's fans. Condolences for all of the above.

NFL just had a press conference and Javon Belcher has been suspended by Roger Goodell for 4 games. Conduct detrimental to the league...

Not to be morbid, but I wonder if he pulled a Junior Seau so they could at least study his brain.
