If you listened to the Lockerroom on KBPI (106.7) you will no longer be able to. They are off the air. Rumor has it it is because of a comment made yesterday about Brittney Spears.

As of this morning The Locker Room is off!

By Early next week KBPI management will make an announcement regarding the future of the morning air shift. THANK YOU for your past and continued support of 106.7 KBPI.

The Vancouver Sun refused to run a get well advertisement for the Colorado Avalanche's Steve Moore. KBPI created a get well ad to be placed in the paper after monday night's incident between Avalanche rookie Steve Moore and the Vancouver Canucks' Todd Bertuzi.

That sucks. I always enjoyed Willie B, Stout, and D-mack. I'll never forget the "Bourque wit da Bourque" song during the 2001 Stanley Cup playoffs.

I grew tired of Lewis and Floorwax and Howard Stern got kicked off Denver airwaves in 2000 as that station switched to Spanish music.

All the good radio people are getting fired because of Janet Jackson and the FCC crackdown. Bush better hope this doesn't hurt him too bad, as Stern's got his entire fanbase ready to vote for Kerry.

What did they say about Britney Spears? She has lied about having fake boobies, she can't sing worth a shiat, and basically tried real hard to change her imagine from a young southern accented family girl to a girl who looks like a whore on Colfax. What could they possibly have said that could hurt her image or offend her? It's not like she isn't seeking attention. Remember the little tongue actions with Madonna?

They have whores that look like that on colfax now? I have been gone for too long I guess, they all looked like crack whores when I was there.

You're right that was a bad analogy. I should have said that some of the clothing she wears is similar to what could be found on a hooker walking Colfax. The quality of hookers is still the same. They all look like crack whores.
