5:19PM EST November 8. 2012 - ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- Every time Von Miller performs the sack dance he dreamt up this offseason, he donates $1,000 to his charity that provides glasses, contacts and eye exams for needy children.

So let this serve as Miller's advance apology to those kids.

If Miller, the Broncos' bespectacled outside linebacker, sacks Carolina quarterback Cam Newton on Sunday, he'll forgo the dance he calls the DeSoto Shuffle in favor of something else far more recognizable: The Superman – Newton's signature touchdown celebration.

Miller, tied for second in the NFL with nine sacks, is already envisioning himself pretending to rip off his white Denver jersey, just like Newton does.

"That would be great," Miller told USA TODAY Sports Thursday afternoon. "I hope I get a chance to do it."

If Miller does steal Newton's Superman, he doesn't mean it as a sign of disrespect. Miller said he's a huge fan of Newton, dating back to before the players were drafted No. 1 (Newton) and No. 2 (Miller) in the 2011 draft.

Sunday marks the first time they will face each other in a game other than the 2011 Pro Bowl. And clearly, no one was rushing the passer in that game.

"This is the best sport in the world, so to get to go out there and show excitement in front of millions of people, that's like you're getting paid to party," Miller said.

Not going there but I would rather let celebrations stick with the original player. I hate when opposing teams do the Mile High Salute. I can't be a hypocrite. Von, do anything but that. Maybe another. Superhero or Superman villian. That would be better.
