Who would you start? After the SD game, I am leaning toward Leonhard he seems to always be around the play.

I say Leonhard. The only reason he has been slowed down was due to injuries. His coverage was never suspect from what I can remember.

Leonhard is better in coverage, Adams is better in run support, from what I can tell. Since NO isn't short on receiving playmakers, I would start Leonhard.

That was pretty much my thought. NO has no running game to speak of, so it would make sense that NO will likely to quick passes as "runs".

I think they are both serviceable. I watched the Jets Broncos game from last year and saw Leonhard making several good plays.

Saints can't run the ball (30th), and struggle to stop it (31st).....they're also not very good stopping the pass (26th) while our new QB is pretty damn good at throwing the ball (4th)
They have the worst D in the NFL and give up a lot of points (30th)... I'm thinking if we can get a couple of turnovers and protect the ball, we should win it 35-24 |

Mike Adams is much better against the run but horrible at pass blitzing and average in coverage. Yes AVERAGE... As there are far worse safeties than Adams in the NFL.
I don't think they'll be moving Leohnard into the starting lineup due to the fact that he's horrible in run defense. |
