Anyone know why Kuper was active but didnt play? Thought he practiced all week and was back to healthy. |

And I doubt Kuper plays against the Chargers either.. I bet he stays on the sideline just as a backup. You figure the Broncos have a BYE the week after.. gives him another 2 weeks.

Because anytime there is a decision to be made we go the conservative route...this was supposed to be a 4-6 week injury and it's been 8 weeks. He's practiced the last two weeks. But we don't play him
Fourth and 2 from the NE 39, punt Third and 4 at the NE 48, run up the middle then punt Always conservative, and it gets old |

If I had to bet on it, I'd guess they'll try to get through the San Diego game as well, so that he can also have the bye before rejoining the starting line-up. |

Yep. This team seams ripe for a late season rush. Peyton + Kuper + new systems + rookies...
It will be nice for a change to have a late season rise, instead of fade... |

It's not just getting healthy. It's getting in "football shape". Kuper had like two days of camp practice before his arm broke.

If hes not yet healthy or in shape or caught up on the new offense, etc - why activate him? Emergency backup only? Ramirez got dominated on a couple running plays.
I'm interested to see if he starts next week in what has shaped up to be a critical game in the division. |
