Hey, guys, if you didn't know already: October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. The NFL and the Denver Broncos want us all to get involved, so, without further adieu:

How much of the profits go to breast cancer prevention programs? Otherwise, this is all a big sham to sell more apparel. I would like to see the NFL do PSAs about the importance of getting checked...

I'd agree it's a spam thread but a strange one. The guy apparently has no personal interest he's trying to promote. Maybe he's a Broncos shop worker trying to advertise? Weird thread.

The pink color on apparel and uniforms look ****ing retarded. Cancer ****ing sucks, better to take your $$$$ and just donate it than buy this pink ****.

Herp derp, this month is totally geared toward attracting females to the NFL who dont care in general. Along with that, it gets donations from those who 9 times out of 10 wouldn't donate period.

An organization that's 100% male that until recently ONLY did breast cancer awareness. No testicular, colon, etc... just breast cancer. The pink stuff is popular and it has a market that the NFL would love to be able to tap. Slap some pink on football gear and the sales take off. They could care as much about breast cancer, in reality, as every NFL player does for the token charity cause he takes up when he becomes a millionaire. |

BTW, I have said before and I will say it again, women wearing pink jerseys is a show of "Look at me and my tight pinkk jersey and not my absolute disregard for any deep knowledge of my team!" Last edited by broncocalijohn; 10-04-2012 at 09:28 PM.. |

Ehh, I'll grab some boobies to do my breast cancer awareness campaign (feeling for lumps, I assure you) and race colon/prostate cancer to the finish line with fried foods.

Sounds great. What color will the whole NFL be wearing for the entirety of the specified month for brian cancer?....lung cancer? What about just plain old cancer?
Unbelievable. |

Not sure about Brian Cancer. Would that be Brian Piccolo? I guess the color would be Bears colors.

To all of you that think this is a "sham" to sell apparel. You may notice that about 90% of the items in this group . . .
"A portion of the proceeds from this (hoodie) funds breast cancer research, making you an essential part in the fight against this disease." So, i don't see how this isn't a win-win situation? Money for cancer research. Good-looking Broncos clothing. Spreading the word about breast cancer screenings. Maybe I'm dense. |

Also, I give you another hour before the mods move/delete this thread. Its still spam... even if well intentioned spam that some might have interest in. |
