Default Broncos vs. Chiefs

I'm pretty inexperienced with the OM, and when I do come over, I try to maintain a level of respect between our teams unlike the internet hack "writer" who's name I'll not speak.

I do notice there has been a little pre-season smacking going on already and rightfully so, both teams are improving on paper this offseason. This got me thinking about some of my memories between the two teams. My stepdad is a Bronco fan. We traditionally have a bottle of crown on the line when the two teams meet up.

But let me hear about yours; favorite games, favorite plays, favorite pre/post game smack between you and a Chiefs fan (between the boards or in real life).

he's back healthy this year!

you the same username on CP, Tombstone? This avatar is much better than the one you have over there. Even if it is a bronco, wait is that Vaseline on that uniform?

My avy over on the planet is the old Denver Nuggets logo, I'm too lazy to change it.

My favorites:

The brutal playoff game in which the Donks went in to KC and stomped the Chiefs. Their fans can have Stoyanovich's (sp?) field goal from earlier that season. Punking the chiefs in KC in one of their few playoff games is too sweet.

The game in Denver in '92. Chiefs are up 19-6 with 5 minutes to play only to get sonned once again by the great John Elway.

Another one that occurred in KC was I believe in '90. I'm not clear on the year. Chiefs fan will be. The Chiefs were of course winning, only to be crushed late when Elway threw a game winning touchdown pass while at least five yards past the line of scrimmage. If it helps nail down the year...they still had that hideous turf.

Tebow's two completion victory is fun too.

Honorable mention to the MNF game in which Shannon Sharpe prolapsed Derrick Thomas' anus. Watching Bubby Brister deal all over those jokers was hilarious. It's not an all time great though, as the Chiefs heeled as soon as the Donks swaggered off the plane. The actual game wasn't really interesting...as KC wasn't competitive.

I will always cherish when we came into your house and beat you guys on our way to our first Super Bowl win. Have you guys won a playoff game since then?

One of my favorite games. I did not think we could go into Arrowhead late in the year and win that game

Without a doubt, Montana vs. Elway at Mile High.

Also high on my list:

Dante Hall's punt return in 2003
Stoyanovich's 54 yarder to win in 1997
And anytime DT was planting Smellway

10 blocks in the back on the Hall punt return. Didn't know if you were aware of it or not.

Ah the Todd vs josh photo. Glad we both got rid of those dumbasses.
Who's flipping off Kennison? Do you have any photos from the orange crush days? How about Bill Romo days?

And Agamemnon, can't you do better than a playoff win joke? Too obvious.

Until you guys win a playoff game it's going to keep being the go to joke because it's just so damn funny...
