Here's a nice bit from Pat Riley:
Riley, though, actually appreciates Cuban as a "very positive influence" in the league who "has helped us all" by virtue of an "ongoing public stance on accountability of referees."
Okay...you know that little problem with the superbowl referees? Cuban has addressed that problem in the NBA. He's a trailblazer of sorts. I have heard that other NBA owners around the league use Cuban as a positive comparison standard when adding new ownership because of his proactive and innovative approach. He might not be the most publicly charming guy, but he's a great guy to have pulling strings behind your team. There's not a better owner in the league.
Here's another great thing about Cuban...from the FWST:
“I am excited to announce that we are lowering all upper bowl ticket prices starting next season,” Cuban said in a release Thursday. “I’m anticipating a reduction in payroll next season and want to pass on the savings so more fans can experience the fun of a Mavs game at American Airlines Center. “My goal is to keep the Dallas Mavericks an exciting and affordable source of entertainment regardless of what your entertainment budget is. With $2 tickets, Mavs games will be more affordable than ever."
