I'm a Lakers fan and I'll be the first to admit that the Lakers suck this year. But they suck a lot less than they did last year. I won't even try to step up and say we're better than Dallas, beacuse we're not. ****, we're not better than almost half of the league. We'll make the plaoffs this year but it will be short lived until we can get out from under the salary cap hell and bring in some decent talent to complement Kobe. The argument on whether of not Phil is a good coach is rediculous. He may have inherited talented teams but he inherited talented teams that weren't winning championships and made them winners. Hell, what he's done this year with Kobe and the others is testament enought to the kind of coach Phil is. I can't think of many more coaches that can do the same with that group.
