As far as the big guys go...agility is just one part of it, as it also has to do with them being able to play through the 4th quarter. As Shanahan said "We like 'em lean," and he means it. He will be lugging around 50 more pounds than the other guys on the line, and agile or not, that will catch up with him. Some reports have him as up to as much as 365 this offseason. There's just no way I see us drafting a guy that big.
Myers should be competing for a starting job next year too...and I think he'll be great, maybe beating out Coop. What do you think of Myers?
Shanny said some good things about him a few weeks ago when he was asked a question about injury issues on the OL and who would step in. In addition, in the most recent Pro Football Weekly edition of Whispers on the Broncos, it said the staff is very high on him.
EDIT: Here is the snipped from PFW on him:
Sixth-round pick Chris Myers could have a bright future at guard in Denver. Coaches believe they would be able to rely on him this season if injuries beset the interior of a very thin offensive line, and that he has all the qualities they look for in a blocker.
