If 1B was not an OG there are a few to target in round 2 Raiola, Scott and Degory come to mind or perhaps one of those I emntioned at 1B will fall

Why do you want a Guard? There's only been 3 guards drafted in the first round in the past 5 years....and two of them were the 30th and 32nd picks. Spending a 1st rounder on a guard would be a mistake, unless it was a huge need for the team. I thought it was going to be, but Carlisle is kicking ass.
And what makes you think Denver would pick Jean Giles? He's 340 pounds...that boy is going to end up at Buffalo or Dallas where they like them big and fat. We already have our heavy mover on the O-Line in George Foster, but he's a tackle and a freak in that hes agile as well.. No way we bring in a guard that big and expect him to pull like we do so many times. Unless Denver changes their running scheme, this guy is going somewhere else.
Besides, we already have Myers on the roster, who was a steal, and unless he's already a total bust be will be filling in for Hamilton when/if Nalen retires.
Lepsis is a FA next year, and we are already light at OT with Carswell's career possibly over. We need Tackles way more than Guards, especially in the first round, when nearly every year tackles go in the 1st and guards don't start to go until the second.
