Doing something for someone when they did not expect it and expecting nothing in return. Especially if that something you did really helped them out of a tough situation. Case in point: A friend of mine had no money this Christmas and he has three kids. So, I played the part of Santa and brought all of his kids presents and marked them "From: Mom and Dad"
I expected nothing in return for this and the look my friend gave me was one I will never forget. It was one of those looks where so much was said but no words came out you know? Perhaps there are no words to express it.
