My first preference would be to trade down and accumulate picks. While i really like Kiwi and Wright, i think we could still get one of them picking at around 5 or 6 or so. Obviously, for me, drafting Leinart at no. 1 would be out of the question (as would be drafting him anywhere before round 3). So ideally id try and move down to the middle of the top 10 and get that team's 2nd round pick this year and their 1st next year and maybe a day 2 pick as well. We will already have likely 7 picks over the first 4 rounds next year. Take it up to 8 or 9. Lets think about that for a second. 9 selections in the first 130, that is over 2 per round and almost 1 pick every 10 slots. Almost just by statistical probability, Denver would be assured of getting AT LEAST 2 studs and 1 quality contributor, probably more. I could only dream of the possibilities with that many picks in the first four rounds. Plus, its an even numbered year where we do markedly better.
