But, my absolute favorite part of the whole movie was at the end. When Vader and the emporer are on the prototype Star Destroyer and flying towards the frame of the Death Star..not the scene itself, but what was in the scene. If you looked at the computer terminals and "gadgets" in the Star Destroyer, it was like a look back into the 70s. The scene of the Republic cruiser, similar to the one Leia was in in the opening scene of A New Hope, was fantastic.
Also, when Yoda walks into fight Palpatine and uses the force on those two guards, did you happen to notice that those were the same Red clad gaurds from Return of the Jedi? The Emporer's gaurds? That was slick.
I was disappointed in the lack of Wookie fighting up close. I mean, there was some, but I was expecting more Wookies. AWESOME cameo by Chewbacca though!

I did think the last 20 minutes or so was really well done.. The shot of the helmet coming down on Vader was slick. The first breathing noise when the helmet seals.. awesome. The last scene invoking a new hope was awesome... I really did like all of that.
The symbolism of the fight bewteen Yoda and Palpatine was great. Fighting in the senate and tearing it apart was important. The senate was supposed to be the center of democracy and democratic ideals... and the fight destroyed it. That was really cleverly done..
I didn't think the movie itself was horrible.. But I still think Lucas REALLY missed on giving me a real REASON for Anakin the goofy b****y teenager to be mass murdering, death star building, jedi killing Darth Vader.
And the Amidala death scene was just stupid. After all.. what MOTHER just gives up on life... what BS.
