This is Star Wars. I never expected a "thought provoking" movie. I agree that some movies make you sit there and say "wow" because it packs a powerful message about life. Anybody who expects some "deeper meaning" to Star Wars will be sorely disappointed. That doesn't mean they didn't think it was good. It's pure entertainment for (in this case) 2 1/2 hours. I'm sure that when the credits rolled, people were simply worried about being stuck in a crowded movie parking lot and wanted to beat the rush.
