Well in his defense, its like gauging market volatility. At first the draft is all about the scouts and on the field performance. Then as draft day approaches, somehow teams just start falling in love guys based on their stats and potential as prospsects and their on the field performance seems to fade. Its like we're picking sports cars. Point being, McPherson is a guy that is rising because he has had some "great workouts". You know, he can throw a ball 70 yards flat footed, which is great. But when is that relevant in a game? I digress.... So Mel probably gave some initial indications that McPherson as going late as a prospect, but now he is moving up as the buzz of draft day comes near.
