IMO - The reason the Broncos punting has been poor is because the last few punters have all been "directional" kickers and not pure power and hangtime kickers. Hence, when the Broncos get stopped in their own end, the opposing team often starts with great field position. A stronger leg alone can eliminate much of this. I'm sick of seeing Bronco punts get fair caught at midfield. Bring on a guy like Farden![/QUOTE]
?? None of the guys Denver has used in recent years have been a directional punter. When was the last time we saw one kicked out of bounds inside the 20 yard line except by accident. I agree they have not had a decent punter for years and it is a need, but I don't think it is worth a third round pick with all of the other needs they have.
Kiper has the Broncs taking Colquitt in the 6th round which is Ok, but I would still be looking for depth on the OL with that pick.
