I used to work as a game tester at Activison. One day there was this guy, just out of highschool, sitting across from me. While he wasn't looking, I took the remote control to the TV that he was testing on. We were testing True Crime: Streets of LA. I stood on the other side of the room, so he wouldn't see me. I then turned off his TV. He jumped up and thought he found the bug of the year. He's telling others around him about this bug that turns off your TV. He tries to reproduce it, doing what he was doing when it first happened. Then I turned his TV off again. He was going nuts, telling everybody about this bug he found. He then goes to try it on another TV. I wish I had the control to that TV, because I would have kept it going. I was hoping that he would write it up in the data base. But then he sees everybody laughing at him and he just felt dumb.
I tried it on other guys, but nobody thought it was a bug. Everybody figured out pretty quick that somebody turned off their TV. I don't know what this guy was thinking. Like you can really do something on the game that would turn your TV off.
