Whatever you do, don’t buy brand name

There are plenty of brand names that react virtually the same for novices.

For example, I have OSI irons…basically Titliest DCI Irons. Look for the knock offs and stick with steel shafts at first until you get the game down better. So basically look for the knock off of the iron you like, it is virtually the same thing. Also I suggest a hybrid 3 and 4 iron, those are the hardest irons to hit….at first with graphite you are going to be slicing everything like crazy.

As far as wood goes…go with orlimar or adams tight lies…they are very forgiving.
