Chris, no one is suggesting we purposely draft busts. That's absurd to even suggest it. Wabbit is merely relaying his observations taken over the entirety of last summer and if the picture looks bleak on a particular player, i find it refreshing that the guy isnt going to homer things up to make it seem all rosey. If the guy looks like crap out there, call it. I tend to trust Wabbit's viewpoint here not only because he is in the best position to know but also because during those rare instances when he is very dim on a particular player, it tends to be reflected in reality to the rest of us later. Take Dorsett Davis for example, Wabbit has said for a long time there is really "nothing there" with the guy, he basically doesnt have it and we have seen now over two years that Dorsett hasnt made any headway towards getting real playing time sans one minicamp in the spring of 03. There are other examples too, McNeal being one. I remember during the summer last year i asked wabbit for his view on him and he gave me a pretty dim picture there,....sure enough the guy didnt make it when there were several people who thought he would make it and in addition make an impact, so its not like wabbit is stating things that are obviously going to or not going to happen. If he is seeing LeSueur really struggling, he is probably really struggling. We all hope the guy can turn it around, that isnt in dispute.
