Man, talk about hedging his bets
Larry is, and likely will dance around this question all the way into training camp.
Problem is; LeSueur was a third round pick that angered a lot of people (me included) when there were some terrific values still on the board.
Coaches (being generic here) will go to almost any lengths to prove he has, at least, SOME ability before hoping everyone forgets this wasted selection and he drops off in the second-to-last cuts of training camp.
I grant you that it's been a 8 months + since I've seen him on a field, but he looked slow & confused.
Coyer wouldn't talk about him THEN...and now he has to, you know...kinda throw the kid a bone (on Mike's order I suspect)
If he makes it...AND makes a splash, I'll be the first one to stand up and hand him a towel...it's always possible I suppose.
I do, however, honestly believe he is another in a long line of never-will-be's that dot the Bronco draft landscape dating back to the early Dan Reeves era.
