Pick 3 players for each round the bronco pick that you would like to see them draft
1ST Round
Anttaj Hawthorne College: Wisconsin Height: 6-33/8
Position: Defensive Tackle Weight: 321
Class: Senior 40-Yard: 5.25
Strengths: Has great size and big frame with long arms...Very strong up top...Has a lot of experience...Can be unblockable at times and almost forces offenses to devote two men to him...Can play the run as well as get after the quarterback...Has a good burst and good closing speed...Does a good job shedding blocks...Solid, reliable tackler.
Weaknesses: Has an inconsistent motor and can disappear for stretches...Doesn't have elite speed and quickness...Needs to get stronger in his lower half...Needs to get in better shape to play longer stretches...Still relies on his natural talent too much.
Notes: Probably a better prospect than Wendell Bryant was coming out of college...Erasmus James stole some of his thunder as a senior, but Hawthorne is still one of the top defensive tackles in this draft.
Luis Castillo
Official Bio College: Northwestern Height: 6-3
Position: Defensive Tackle Weight: 305
Class: Senior 40-Yard: 4.79
SCOUTING REPORT
Strengths: Good athletic ability...Is very strong...Always gives 100% and has a motor that never stops...Shows good quickness...Does all the little things...Developing player who still has some upside and potential.
Weaknesses: Needs to work on refining his technique and doing the little things...Still somewhat raw...Isn't as physical as you would like.
Notes: A former prep wrestler...Family is from the Dominican Republic...Has the physical tools that the pros look for and could rise up boards as the draft nears.
Marcus Spears
Official Bio College: L.S.U. Height: 6-4
Position: Defensive End Weight: 307
Class: Senior 40-Yard: 4.80
SCOUTING REPORT
Strengths: Has excellent athletic ability...Good size and frame with long arms...Versatile...Very quick and agile...Strong...Does a nice job against the run...Has a knack for making the big play and has scored multiple defensive touchdowns...Top character.
Weaknesses: Isn't a dominating pass rusher and more of a left end...Lacks top end speed...Still raw and learning the position...A bit of a DE / DT 'tweener and may have to change positions in the pros...Needs to play with better technique and leverage.
Notes: One of the top tight end recruits coming out of the prep ranks...May fit in best as a 3-4 defensive end at the pro level...Still has a lot of upside and could flouish in the right scheme
2nd round
Chris Kemoeatu
Official Bio College: Utah Height: 6-31/2
Position: Offensive Guard Weight: 344
Class: Senior 40-Yard: 5.25
SCOUTING REPORT
Strengths: Massive size and frame...Strong as an ox...Can just maul defenders at times...A dominator in the running game...Intense and fiery...Good athletic ability for his size...Explosive out of his stance...Will not get pushed around.
Weaknesses: Has some character questions...Has been known to lose his cool on the field and has been suspended for kicking opposing players in the face during a game...Immature...Struggles in space...Needs to get better technically and plays too high.
Notes: You certainly never condone the type of violence on the field he has gotten in trouble for, but you can bet some coaches will love his intensity...If you are looking for a massive, dominating run blocker a la David Dixon then this is your guy...Has a brother that plays for the Baltimore Ravens.
Matt Jones
Official Bio College: Arkansas Height: 6-61/4
Position: Wide Receiver Weight: 242
Class: Senior 40-Yard: 4.39
SCOUTING REPORT
Strengths: Has amazing athletic ability...Very good size...Has a lot of potential and showed he has the ability to make the move to wideout in Mobile at the Senior Bowl...Very tough...Appeared to have good hands...Fiery player with a great competitive spirit.
Weaknesses: Very raw and has never played a position other than quarterback...Will need a lot of work and development...May lack a killer instinct and be too laid back...Is he truly dedicated to the game of football or was basketball his true love?
Notes: Was also a top high school basketball player and saw some time on the court with the Razorbacks...Could also project to quarterback or tight end in the pros...Interesting prospect who really doesn't have a clear position.
Jovan Haye
Official Bio College: Vanderbilt Height: 6-2
Position: Defensive End Weight: 284
Class: Junior 40-Yard: 4.75
SCOUTING REPORT
Strengths: Very good speed...Great size...Very athletic...All-around player who can rush the passer as well as play the run effectively...Quick with good closing speed...Very smart...Also a team captain.
Weaknesses: Was not nearly as productive in 2004 (1 sack) as he was in 2003 (8.5 sacks)...Still had to find an ideal playing weight...Needs to be more aggressive...Streaky player who is either great or average.
Notes: Led the SEC in sacks with 8.5 as a sophomore...Has added 40+ pounds since arriving on campus...Could be a workout warrior and certainly has the physical tools pro teams look for.
3rd round
Jeremy Parquet

Position: Offensive Tackle Weight: 323
Class: Senior 40-Yard: 5.25
SCOUTING REPORT
Strengths: Excellent size and a massive frame...Good athleticism and nimble feet...Has long arms which aid him as a pass blocker...Powerful and does a solid job as a run blocker...Smart player who graduated in 3 1/2 years...A team leader and captain.
Weaknesses: Not as strong as you would like and needs to hit the weight room...Doesn't always play up to his physical ability...Inconsistent...Will improve in the running game as he gets stronger.
Notes: Prospect who has a rare blend of size and athleticism...Has a lot of potential as well as the drive to succeed and improve...May have the potential to play left tackle in the NFL.
Sione Pouha
Official Bio College: Utah Height: 6-33/8
Position: Defensive Tackle Weight: 325
Class: Senior 40-Yard: 5.06
SCOUTING REPORT
Strengths: Has excellent size and a wide frame...Very strong and powerful...Can be dominant at times...Athletic with good speed and quickness...Mature, team leader with great character...Still has a lot of upside and potential.
Weaknesses: Overaged prospect who will be a 26-year-old rookie because he took time off for a church mission...Wears down in games...Underachiever who doesn't always play up to his physical abilities...Is not a great pass rusher but could be...Needs to be more consistent.
Notes: Has just about everything the pros look for in a defensive tackle...Could make a move up draft boards due to his impressive physical tools.
Vincent Jackson
Official Bio College: Northern Colorado Height: 6-43/4
Position: Wide Receiver Weight: 241
Class: Senior 40-Yard: 4.55
SCOUTING REPORT
Strengths: Excellent size and height...Good speed...Very good athletic ability...Strong...Has good hands...Will jump over defensive backs to make the grab...Also a good punt returner...A playmaker who has a knack for making the big play and scoring touchdowns.
Weaknesses: Did not play against a top level of competition...May be too big to play wideout in the pros and could grow into a tight end...Isn't a great route runner and doesn't look smooth...Inconsistent and needs to show more effort...Isn't much of a threat to run after the catch.
Notes: Prospect with a lot of upside and potential...Also played basketball in college...One of the top sleeper prospects in the draft and a player on the rise.
6th Round
Scott Young
Official Bio College: B.Y.U. Height: 6-35/8
Position: Offensive Guard Weight: 312
Class: Senior 40-Yard: 4.93
SCOUTING REPORT
Strengths: Has good size and the frame to get bigger and stronger...Quick and fast with very good athleticism...Very strong and a beast in the weight room...Still has a lot of upside.
Weaknesses: Raw with limited experience on offense and still has a lot of learn about the position...Needs to add some bulk...Technique is lacking and will need a lot of work.
Notes: Former defensive tackle...Far from a finished product but an interesting developmental guy with a lot of upside...Could end up being a steal if he continues to improve.
Paul Jefferson
Official Bio College: Penn St. Height: 6-1
Position: Fullback Weight: 259
Class: Senior 40-Yard: 4.80
SCOUTING REPORT
Strengths: Very good size...Excellent lead blocker...Very smart...Strong and gets a good push...Has led the way for a very good rushing attack, including Larry Johnson's 2,000 yard campaign.
Weaknesses: Offers very little in terms of a receiving threat...Only average athletically and won't work out real well...Split time with Sean McHugh for a good part of his career...One dimensional.
Notes: Won't jump out at you athletically but just gets the job done...Will never be a star but is the type of guy who could make it in the NFL due to his blocking ability alone.
Calvin Armstrong
Official Bio College: Washington St. Height: 6-71/8
Position: Offensive Tackle Weight: 325
Class: Senior 40-Yard: 5.50
SCOUTING REPORT
Strengths: Good size and frame...Athletic and moves well...Hard worker and team leader...Good footwork and agility...Good strength.
Weaknesses: A bit of an underachiever...Lacks a mean streak and killer instinct...Plays too high...Inconsistent...Needs to use his hands better.
Notes: Has the tools you look for but never developed in a dominating player...Could end up being a better pro than college player with the right coaching.
7th round
Matt Payne
Official Bio College: B.Y.U. Height: 6-4
Position: Punter Weight: 229
Class: Senior 40-Yard: 4.76
SCOUTING REPORT
Strengths: Versatile and has kicked and punted during his days in Provo...Has very good leg strength...Mature individual...Can punt for distance or pin the opponent inside the twenty...Good size and athletic ability...Can also kickoff.
Weaknesses: Only average as a field goal kicker...Not as accurate as you would like...Didn't concentrate on just one position in college.
Notes: Statistically one of the best punters in the country...Will probably get drafted late and has a good chance of making an NFL team.
Sam Mayes
Official Bio College: Oklahoma St. Height: 6-3
Position: Offensive Guard Weight: 330
Class: Senior 40-Yard: 5.3
SCOUTING REPORT
Strengths: Has excellent size...Very strong...Physical player...Works hard...Can be a dominating run blocker and is a roadgrader...Experienced.
Weaknesses: Needs to watch his weight and keep that under control...Has to stay in good shape to be effective...Only average as a pass blocker.
Notes: Has the tools to be an excellent blocker at the next level if he can keep his weight in check...Would be a perfect fit for a team that likes to run the ball.
Cedric Johnson
Official Bio College: Clemson Height: 6-4
Position: Offensive Guard Weight: 325
Class: Senior 40-Yard: 5.25
SCOUTING REPORT
Strengths: Has a massive frame...Is very strong...Has a lot of experience and has played all over the offensive line...Very quick with good athleticism...Does a nice job in the running game.
Weaknesses: Has to work on staying in shape...An underachiever...Character and dedication are major question marks...Leaves a lot to be desired as a pass blocker...Technique is lacking.
Notes: How teams assess his intangibles will tell the story for him on Draft Day...Would appear to be a prototypical backup in the pros due to his ability to play any position along the offensive line.
These are the players I would not be upset on draft day if we could get them. In the lower round its a crap shoot ( but I guess that could be said for any round of a draft) I tried to pick players that had upside for the lower rounds in a position of need.
