It's sad to see the board shift from the optimism and general support for Shanahan, to pessimissm and a little bit of despair for the future of the team.
I'm depressed because I feel like were running in place here... The resigning of Gold is fixing a "mistake" that frankly I don't believe ever existed. We did the right thing by letting him go. And his act the entire way out the door only re-inforced the decision.
To double back now, and get virtually no value out of HIS mistake, shows weakness IMO. It's hard to be impressed with the direction we're moving.
