I agree IMO the divisions in this country are currently more of a threat then most terrorists groups. The key to watching some of these shows is the ability to see them for what they are. I actually agree with alot of what someone like Oreilly says/thinks the key is to watch and not just swallow everything that they say. Take what facts they throw out and make one's own mind up.
We really need to find a leader that can bridge the divisions. You only have to look at how demonized the world 'liberal' has become to see the full effects. We have idiots like Moore demonizing the right, and close mind morons like Limbaugh demonizing the left.
One good example: I listened to about 45 seconds of Rush the other day. He led into a segment with (paraphrasing) ' A recent study has concluded the teenagers are irrational... The study can also be applied to liberals, they're just as irrational as teenagers'.
Everything turns into a 'liberal idiot' diatribe.. and sure enough people begin to parrot it .
The same goes for those liberals who blindly parrot the drivel that Moore produces.
I really think this is the end result of well organzed, negative campaigns. We've spent so much time looking at what's WRONG with each other politically, that we've lost the ability to see what's right.
