That's what pisses me off the most about Shaq. He gave no effort the last few years in LA. He was close to 400 lbs. He didn't try to rebound or play defense. If he was in shape in LA they would have won 5 titles in a row, and be on their way to a 6th straight title. I'm pissed that he finally decided to give an effort. The Heat will probably give him the extension that he wants, and then the weight will go right back on.
Shaq could have been the greatest player ever, if he tried. He would have been greater than Jordan, Magic, Bird, Chaimberlain, and every other player. When he was in shape, and tried, he couldn't be stopped. But he only played hard when he felt like it. The other players played hard every night. Shaq is one of the greatest basketball players ever, but he could have been the greatest, only if he tried. The other players got the most out of their abilities. But Shaq never did.
