"Fan" 2004: A Code of Conduct
-At the first sign of trouble, slam everyone and anyone involved with the team.
-Always second guess every draft pick who doesn't become a pro bowler, and ignore the draft picks who do.
-Boo louder than you ever cheer.
-Always pretend to have all the solutions to personnel & play calling issues. After all, your vast football experience playing left guard in high school taught you so much. You can't put a price on that kind of experience.
-Call for the coach's job if the team doesn't win all 16 games, every year. After all, Bill Cowher was a waste and should have been fired last season. Who cares that this season he's up for coach of the year. That doesn't matter. You were right then and you are right now about Shanahan.
-Every player that drops a ball, gets burnt on a deep route, misses a tackle, over-throws a pass, or screws up a block, should be promptly cut or traded. After all, you never did any of those things during your stellar pigskin career at Hickville High.
-Finally and most importantly, show your true colors (as well as your ass) and slam the team in every thread you can on the Orangemane...a site created for "fans."
