You should see the crazy high tech machinery we invested in this year to farm. Farmers don't rake the soil and throw in seed.
The combine can detect minute differences in yield thru a cornfield so you can alter the fertilizer according to yields ect.
The Tractor has a GPS system and tracks. The New Kinsey box (holds 2/3 of a semi load) also has tracks for muddy conditions and has a 12 inch high speed auger.
The new planter was 75,000 used. And it's not a Combine to give you an idea.
And that's the new stuff. It's the old stuff that you have to be a hands on repair engineer. I'm amazed at my nephew and brother how they can organize the operation. It's not a scrub proof clean room, but it's not your fathers farming either. It's even more amazing engineering stuff, but it has to work in mud, rain and whatever nature can throw at you.
