I doubt you read the article. The fact is the outsourced jobs are lower paying, and the insourced jobs are better paying. Insourced jobs outweigh outsourced jobs, a net gain.
It even quoted that China experienced more manufacturing loss than the USA, 11 percent. Outsourcing accounts for .71 of employment. Your hoodwinked.
True, I'm not trying to beat down people that expected to be some IT pro in a Mercedes, but it was a total bubble of the dot.com fiasco. Every counselor in the country was telling kids to go into IT, when it is technical skills the country needs and are in short supply. You don't have to believe what they say, and I understand some of them are supply sided educated idiots, but they make many valid points.
Fact of the matter is that is what unemployment is for.
