Whats your favorite food recipe?
I guess I will start it off with a couple of mine.
SWEET AND SPICY CHICKEN WINGS
1 1/2 cups Louisiana-style hot sauce
3/4 cup butter
1 cup honey
1 pinch garlic salt
1 pinch ground black pepper
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper, or to taste
To Make Sauce: In a samll pot combine hot sauce, butter, honey, garlic salt, pepper and salt. I dont remember if you have to cook the sauce a litte bit before adding onto the chicken.
I havent made it for awhile.Add more Cayenne for more kick or reduce Cayenne for less kick.(I usually have to reduce it for the women at family gatherings, because they always complain its to hot.But the guys love it hot.My grandpa kind of got pissed off that I reduced the heat)
SWEET CHICKEN WINGS
3 tablespoons soy sauce
3 tablespoons water
1 cup white sugar
1/2 cup vinegar
To Make Sauce: In a small bowl combine the soy sauce, water, sugar and vinegar Mix together and pour over chicken.
I love this chicken, but it seems like it is alot less popular than the sweet and spicy recipe.
NEED FOR BOTH
chicken wings, separated at joints, tips discarded
2 eggs or more, beaten
1/4 cup or more all-purpose flour for coating
DIRECTIONS FOR BOTH:
Dip chicken in egg beat, then flour. Fry in a large skillet until crispy, about 15 minutes. Drain and place in a 9x13 inch baking dish.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Poor sauce on chicken
Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until cooked through and juices run clear.
