It was great as far as security because it not only had a good warranty, but it made you put in a code. If you disconnected the power you had to put in the code for it to work again. Man I wish I still had that truck and system.
Eclipse has a similar thing. You put a CD in the first time you turn it on, and it recognizes that CD as a "key cd" and if the system ever gets disconnected from power, it needs that CD to operate. Eclipse also gives you a free stereo if yours gets stolen, if installed by an authorized dealer.
