Ok. fair enough I didn't see that. but im sure you also read this.

So its a poll from people you SAID they were native American and only 768 at that. the whole article from the first link is just plain lie after lie. My wife has heard the slur called to her quite a few times. Its pretty simple really. Just because you haven't heard it doesnt mean it isn't a slur.
