Center requires a different set of skills than being a guard. Ramirez might be perfect for the position. There are not as many one on one block he mostly will tandem block with other guards and help pick up blitzes.
There are a lot of 1-1 matchups...it's called a 3-4. Teams will know how to exploit it to ensure he is matched up 1-1.
He was "okay" with help, but he struggled big time in picking up blitzes (uh-oh) and power rushes. That is an awful situation to have at center...especially one with a pocket passer like Manning.
