White didnt make the top 3 i was considering at QB. This was primarily because he doesnt seem like a talented passer. He was widely acknowledged to be a smart passer but Oklahoma's offense isnt that complicated nor is it too much to handle, it consists of only the Y Cross, Mesh, Shallow Crossing Series, All-Curl, Four Verticals, Double Smash, Y Sail, Y Corner, Y Stick, basic quick game and the Arc, Larry/Randy and Rita/Lisa Screen. This is very similar to the Kentucky offense under Hal Mumme and the Valdosta State Offense under Chris Hatcher. Its pretty simple but the passes are very reliable and they use a bunch of formations and a couple tags. Ive always liked this offense because you get alot of reps because there arent alot of passes and the reads are easy. So it is not like he is doing alot and he doesnt seem like a very cerebral passer to me. Also he has poor arm strength and good but not great accuracy. He doesnt have mobility, either. White is a good, not great QB. I rate the following QBs better than him: Pac-10: Rodgers (my eventual choice), Leinart and Walter.
SEC: Leak, Greene, Jones.
ACC: GT's Frosh QB from last year.
Other Conferences: Pinegar, Hill.
