I'm gonna say this is the year Phil doesn't finish 2nd place, he gets it done. The man has more 2nd place finishes in a US Open then anybody in the history of the game. Bottom line is he plays this tournament very well most of the time. He's got the amazing short game to get out of trouble around these really small greens with all the scrub rough around the bunkers. And with not having to hit driver as much as you would on a longer course, I think that really helps his chances.
Now the big question is, should I take that to Vegas? I did call the Scott win at the Masters and I was kicking myself for not throwing down $100.
