I was listening to a discussion among retired military leaders yesterday who agreed that it is basically an unwinnable situation and the only resolution will be a political one. What are we, the global maid service? Every mess that happens is not ours to clean up. Hell, we've spent the last hundred years trying to clean up the global messes of the Europeans.
