Comparing Tigers' Miguel Cabrera at 30 with the all-time greats

Miguel Cabrera turned 30 on Thursday. CBSSports.com's Danny Knobler put his stats against other great hitters' at that age:

1,822 HITS:

He's not in the all-time top 10, but he's ahead of Derek Jeter (1,619) and Pete Rose (1,547). And 15 behind Al Kaline's 1,837.

323 HOME RUNS:

That's 11th on the all-time list, led by Alex Rodriguez's 409. It's only 19 homers short of Henry Aaron's pace at that age.

1,140 RBIs

Cabrera is sixth on the all-time list, behind Jimmie Foxx, Mel Ott, Lou Gehrig, Rodriguez and Ken Griffey Jr.

725 EXTRA-BASE HITS:

That's eighth, trailing only A-Rod, Foxx, Griffey, Aaron, Albert Pujols, Ott and Lou Gehrig. (Via ESPN.com's Jayson Stark.)

.318 BATTING AVERAGE:

Kaline was hitting .307 when he turned 30, A-Rod .306, Griffey .299, Pujols .334 and Ty Cobb an incredible .369.
