Really? I thought Adams was solid. He was very effective blitzing, he tackled well, and he was decent in coverage when tasked with it. I thought he was pretty versatile and worked well within our defense. He's not all-world, but he's good enough to win a Superbowl with. Can't afford superstars everywhere. And we did pay his roster bonus, so it seems like he's in our plans as a starter for one more season.
I'm just trying to think how the Broncos are thinking. Moore seems to be the answer at one position, but we need to draft a safety to groom behind Adams for this year, so that he can start next year. I think the 3rd round gets us that safety in a deep class. I'm not entirely sure what to think about Quinton Carter going forward with the knee and gambling charge still in question.
He was so bad they grabbed Leonhard two weeks into training camp to cut into his snaps, and did so come the reg season. Adams was below average in every aspect you mentioned.
