Gonna have to disagree with you there. Bzdelik's substitutions are PAINFUL. A lot of times, we needed some offense off of the bench, and he would keep Rodney White buried. For some reason he would play Chris Andersen on the road when it was obvious that the only time he did anything successful was at home (where he fed off of the home crowd). Jon Barry didn't see enough playing time. Francisco Elson's the same.
Perfect example is game 3 of the series against Minnesota. We came out and just were demolishing them. Every time they would start to make a run, Bzdelik wouldn't stop it until it got dangerously close. The starters were getting lazy (we would be up ~20) and instead of making a stand (put a Bowen, a White, a Barry in) to get the mo back, he would let it go until it reached single digits. Against a team like Minnesota, you can't do that and expect to get away with it. Luckily we did (and I have the pictures from my seat to prove it) though.
Bzzzzzzzz is going through learning pains still. Every time I think about his situation I flip flop on whether we should gut it out with him or not. On one hand, you have someone like Flip Saunders who didn't really coach at all before getting the T-Pups job, and now he's one of the better coaches in the league. On the other hand, we're ready to strike now, we need someone that can take the team to a new level.
