Islam is a militaristic and imperialistic religion, whose followers are commanded by the Qu'ran to subjugate all other people without hesitation to shed blood.
If our President told you the truth about Islam, it would cause the weak coalition of Islamic nations he's enlisted to battle terrorism to fall apart. In fact, it could easily turn the entire Islamic world against the United States and the West.
You see, Osama Bin Laden and his followers are mainstream Islam.
In fact, The Qu'ran, Sura 5, verse 85, describes the inevitable enmity between Islam and the rest of the world.
'Strongest among men in enmity to the Believers wilt thou find the Jews and Pagans.'
Sura 9, verse 5 adds:
'Then fight and slay the pagans wherever you find them. And size them, beleaguer them and lie in wait for them, in every stratagem (of war).'
Then nations, however mighty, the Qu'ran insists, must be fought 'until they embrace Islam.'
My friend, the 7th Century Qu'ran is still taught today as the immutable word of Allah. And Osama Bin Laden and more than 13 million other followers of mainstream (terrorist) Islam (rather than a more secular Islam) have gained much of the control of the Muslim world.
And subjugate they have done. A recent Wall Street Journal editorial recently pointed out that all but one of the world's remaining military regimes are in Muslim countries. With the exception of Turkey and Bangladesh, there are no real elections in any Muslim country. And of the current active 30 conflicts in the world no fewer than 28 concern muslim governments and/or communities. Two-thirds of the world's political prisoners are held in Muslim countries, which carry out 80% of all executions each year.
What's more, according to Baroness Caroline Cox, a member of the British House of Lords, more than 160,000 Christians will by martyred this year.
'. . .the wrath of Allah came to them from quarters from which they had little expected it, and cast terror into their hearts, so that they destroyed their own dwellings by their own hands and the hands of the Believers.'
'. . .give firmness to the Believers: I will instill terror into the hearts of the Unbelievers:
you smite them above their necks and smite all their fingertips off them.'
'O messenger! Rouse the Believers among you to the fight. If there are twenty amongst you, patient and persevering, they will vanquish two hundred: if a hundred, they will vanquish two thousand of the unbelievers: for these are people without understanding.

WOMEN
Women are deficient in mind and religion.
Mohammed asked some women, "Isn't the witness of a woman equal to half that of a man?" The women said, "yes," He said, "This is because of the deficiency of the woman's mind. " Vol. 3:826
Mohammed to women: "I have not seen any one more deficient in intelligence and religion than you." Vol. 2:541
The majority of people in hell are women.

Women are a bad omen.

Allah hurries to please Mohammed's sexual desires.

When a woman is divorced irrevocably, she can not return to her husband until she marries (including having sexual intercourse) with another man.
"Narrated Aisha: The wife of Rifaa Al-Qurazi came to Allah's Apostle and said, 'O Allah's Apostle, Rifaa divorced me irrevocably. After him I married Abdur-Rahman bin Az-Zubair Al-Qurazi who proved to be impotent.' Allah's Apostle said to her, 'Perhaps you want to return to Rifaa? Nay (You cannot return to Rifaa) until you and Abdur-Rahman (the impotent man) engage in sexual intercourse!" Vol. 7:186

Islam is to be imposed by force.
Mohammed said, "I have been ordered to fight with the people till they say, "None has the right to be worshipped but Allah, and whoever says, " None has the right to be worshipped but Allah , his life and property will be saved by me." (otherwise it will not). Vol. 4:196

Mohammed's teachings are included in what is called "Hadith." The "Hadith" is a record of Mohammed's words and deeds according to his wives, relatives, and companions. Next to the Quran, it is the most important part of Islamic law; its teachings are just as binding.
The Hadith is recorded in many books, and by many people, not all of them are agreed upon by all Muslims. All of our quotes here are from "Sahih Al-Bukhari" which comes in nine volumes, and contains thousands of Hadiths. Al Bukhari is accepted by most Muslims as the authentic words of Mohammed.
