Still think McGahee is better and will be the starter once he gets back, but Moreno's done some nice work. It's nice that it's not too much of a dropoff after all. He's definitely shown he deserves to be kept around and to get some playing time and a larger share of the carries going forward. Next year he might be able to push Willis for the starting job or at least get a 50/50 or 60/40 split with a bit of Hillman sprinkled in.
The biggest thing I noticed today (other than Moreno's 115 yards including an absolutely sick hurdle of Ed Reed
) was the disappearance of Lance Ball. Fine with me, cause I've never been very impressed by him, but man, Jacob Hester comes in off the street and takes all your carries? Ouch.
